Philadelphia’s Leather are making a name for themselves playing noisy, aggressive, melodic rock. It’s easy to see from the number of blog posts about them the impact that their records have had. Previous releases on Caesar Cuts, Fan Death, and Jade Tree records are getting rave reviews and are either sold out or increasingly hard to find.
This new 7” brings it all back to the beginning by releasing the bands first recordings from 2009. Originally self released on cassette and now long gone… thrashy and magnificent like a messy mix of Bad Brains, Pissed Jeans, Black Flag and maybe Cro-Mags?
